It can be intimidating to learn any new activity and frustrating to bump up against the reality that you don’t know what you don’t know. Fortunately, we live in a time where if you want to learn something you can probably watch an online video, join a social media group, or take a workshop. (See the Resources tab for some of these.) But, when it comes to learning to hunt, one of the best things you can do is find a mentor. Many state agencies and non-governmental non-profits provide learn to hunt training and in-the-field mentoring programs.
